Joey Mojo, Regarded as the Gold Coasts most iconic DJ. Sought after by clubs and lounge bars alike from top to bottom of the East Coast, his infectious personality shines through his relay of the worldliest, most up-to-date music that keeps his dance floor eager and present for the entirety of his set. Capable of 6 hours uninterrupted performance, free from song repeats, he is a master of crowd education with the flair and finesse of a DJ far superior and experienced. Joey Mojo really is redefining the limits that Gold Coast talent can reach. He deservedly strives for international recognition with the greats, where he may reside amongst the likes of Laidback Luke, Deadmau5 and The Bingo Players.

From humble Sydney beginnings, Joeys love of music lead him interstate and abroad to the rhythms in the UK and the sounds of Ibiza. Accordingly, he returned home, shifted to the Gold Coast and began to nurture his newfound desire to DJ. Joey found himself a home amongst Toomba Records and crew, where he was schooled by local greats such as Giv, Fuzion and Gerry Morales.

Having matured from his Sydney way of life, surrounded by Happy Hardcore and Trance; Joey began treasuring the sounds of world renowned DJ’s and Producers such as Laidback Luke, The Bingo Players, Avicii, Kaskade, Jesse Rose and Switch. These names among many others subjected Joey to be recognized for his passion in Dutch House, Electro, Deep House, Tech House, Jackin Tech, Big Room and Progressive, which continue to enthuse him today.

Over the years he has blessed festivals with his presence and following, notably Summafielddayze 2008 and 2009. His progression in the Gold Coast nightclub scene begins at Baja 2005, moving to a four-year saga as main resident at The Bedroom Nightclub, recently moving onto bigger and better things, joining the 5AM roster and becoming resident at the Gold Coasts leading nightclub for world class acts, skill appreciation and recognition, Platinum Nightclub.

To date, Joey Mojo has supported a diverse range of Internationally Acclaimed Acts including Axwell, Roger Sanchez, Thomas Gold & Tom Novy to name but a few.
